Oh dear. I just realised i've got a middle 'C' in my official name too... Which got me involved in this issue.

That's why they 'revealed' Schumacher as the Stig, it was no coincidence that it was the same episode that they had a new Ferrari going round the track, Michael Schumacher has been Ferraris test driver for years.

That’s the beauty of the disguise, as many super car manufacturers especially ones like Ferrari, Lamborghini etc... Will send their own test drivers to show the car at it's best.
