The Lotus camp was well represented with the various series Esprits, Elise, Exiges, an Europa (haven't seen one of these in years) and a couple of Evoras.

Actually there was one for Darren C also (aka Nanny McPhee sponsor) - 1913 Silver Ghost, just imported.

It amazes me what people here will import. This was a beautiful car though

Great find Dermot,

I love the "All Original" quote...
Converted to a truck...then restored with another body

All original my Ar*e

That aside an early two wheel brake ghost is still worth over £200K, even a Frankenstein like this one.

If it were all original it'd be £400K +

P & A Wood had a 1911 Ghost with only 10,000 miles on from new....now thats what I'd call ALL ORIGINAL, mind you it was £3million ;)

200k - holy sh1t. I'd have paid more attention had I known.

the resto must have been good - the rear compartment smelled like my granny's front room :D

I wish!

Theres a similar 1912 here for sale at £585,000.00 it's a resto too ;)

http://www.pa-wood.co.uk/preowned/class ... 1912.shtml

or this at £575,000.00

http://www.pa-wood.co.uk/preowned/class ... 1911.shtml

This one is the icing on the cake.

http://www.pa-wood.co.uk/preowned/class ... ster.shtml

(some say £5million)

As for me, my humble Nanny Mcphee cars only worth a couple of £100K

better start saving

(but I do have one of these too....

http://www.pa-wood.co.uk/preowned/class ... oupe.shtml

except my 1935 is even rarer as it's 1 of two known to exist, but mine has Bugatti semi circular swages down the side and is much prettier)

Ok that's enough.....you all hate me enough already

The Atlanta one at Bonhams in 09 - sold for just under 200k

http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/wspd_cgi ... ectionNo=3

clearly that is because it has the cloth interior, whereas the 585k ones have the full leather interior!!

I have to say, that it looks better in the Atlanta sunshine, rather than a wet muddy field

I was spot on the money then

It's so low because of the jaded history, especially that truck nonsense.

I keep tellin you guys to stop messing with your De's, in another 80 years you'll regret ripping out that Craig or fitting Volvo parts.
