Just one thing, not sure who has sailed from Stranraer before, I have, it's the worst drive ever. Once you get to Carlisle, you think great almost there, it's at least another 3 hrs from there, probably more in a D' & the road is proper shite. For those who are somewhat south I'd say Hollyhead is much better bet

Exactly the same price, just different times:

Out: 14:10 - 17:25 (20 minutes later than Stena)
Back: 14:30 - 16:30 (1 hour later than Stena)


Personally I prefer the earlier time on the Sunday, i.e. Stena Line, as that gets me back at a more reasonable time, but whatever the group is doing. We might as well be on the same boat!

What are the likes of Alan H / Pete / Carl / Mec / etc. doing?
