Yep - I'd say Gez's figures are about right. And the tax difference seems fair to me, as I'm fairly sure Gez's Mini has infinitely more road use and created infinitely more emissions this year than the DeLorean!

I pay about £300 for insurance - mine is higher due to no garage, and my profession.
It's been a while since I've seen a decent car for that sort of money - but it does happen, although expect to spend at least £2000 to get it up to a good standard, unless you plan on doing everything yourself.
