If you can't get it on insurance, then http://www.uroglas.com stock them.

Perfect thanks, I have an early screen with Aerial but it has turned brown and has some nasty marks as well so a new screen would just bring the car up to the standard i want!

Thanks again.

About £320 for non-built-in-antenna version, or around £360 with the antenna built in I think. About £75 for delivery, and quick lead time - they are usually in stock.

The part number for antenna version is URO5172BZBZA

Thanks for all your help i collected my Windscreen today! Very nice screen will make the car look fantastic.

So old screen now out but when i look at the bonding the stuff that is holding the old screen in appears to be very soft and sticky? Normal window bond goes quite hard. Is there a certain window bond i need to use?

Thanks for all your help.

Windscreens

I think JRG replaced his screen a couple of years ago, he will know hopefully he will chime in
I need a screen too, but no major major rush as it's on the drivers bottom edge where it's chipped hard to see unless you know!

We also had an enquiry for a screen from a tv company last week!

I can't see what makes a DeLorean windscreen "special" - you'd use the same window bond that you'd use for pretty much any car surely?

Windscreens

The windscreen on the DeLorean is a major structural part, Stephen Wynne explained how important it is in the design of the car to me at last Eurofest, worst case scenario I'd doors won't shut right
Although it's prob stuck in with same stuff, but at least JRG def held up!

Quoting DMC Dave on DMCTalk:

Reseal it with real windshield urethane adhesive. DO NOT use RTV Silicone. This is a bonded windshield, i.e. it's part of the cars structure, in fact you'll find if enough windshield glue lets go the doors won't close right any more.
