No but fuse 5 only has 2V at it so possibly accessory relay but don't know what way it should be wired

I think the earth points all go to a crappy stud to the right of the stereo with it removed.
All earths ring terminals and the nut goes loose.

Do other circuits from the accessory relay work?

Yes that is where they all terminate ... what a great feat of engineering it is to site them there ;)

One lttle nut comes loose and a whole raft of problems occurs ...

Just like the battery dash bulb :)

Ahh yes, the genius that is DMC electrics. I relocated the console ground point to up near the vent so its easier to access.

Dash now working, although windscreen wipers on constant and power supply to "trunk" light is a short circuit.

A lot of work to do but hopefully having the next 2 weekends practically football free as well as easter, may day and royal wedding will get a lot of gremlins sorted and an MOT can be booked.

If anyone can help me with headlights it would be much appreciated. My local places don't do hella or valeo. I will Paypal ££ if anyone can help. Martin provided my last ones but standards instead of Halo will do.

Otherwise a fair bit of rebuilding to do in the interior as well as window motors not working...

Cheers Arran, will give him a call. When is the best time to get him?

Spent today sorting out the electrical gremlins. Still some to sort but started cleaning up the interior, put a temporary cover on the drivers seat and got my Craig radio pumping out the tunes. Drivers side carpets removed and cleaned as best as possible. I also fed the leather that is still usable to make it look a bit healthier. I am missing the carpet that goes behind the seats if anyone know where I can get this part only.

Is there a trick to getting the rubber that goes around the vents on correctly? They are out of shape as they were not fitted correctly when I removed them.

Off out for a well earned meal now and may head out to the garage again after.
