Progress today:
- final coat of paint for servo and brackets
- drilled a hole in the frame to mount a new bracket for the brake line
- went out and bought nuts before going nuts
- installed front SS braided brake lines
- installed painted brake servo after paint has dried
- reinstalled clutch master (I had to loosen it to get the servo out). PS. Did I tell you those bolts in the footwell are a bitch to tighten?
- prepped the new master cylinder (new tank, etc.)
- bench-bled the new master cylinder
- installed the M/C in the car
- tightened some nuts and bolts
- torqued up the brake caliphers to the hubs (almost forgot!)
- loaded the brake fluid reservoir with brake fluid
- tightened up some more nuts and bolts
- sprayed rust protection on the area's that needed a touch-up after the work.
- And perhaps some other stuff I forgot about.
....
- found a bad connection in the back of the binnacle, causing my brake warning light to fail. Short story, it's fixed now.
Now I am completely tired, bad back, broken and I didn't even bleed the brakes. Alas, no American Sunday at Zandvoort tomorrow...
