We were building a bathroom in the basement and my wife picked up one of these at a local Builders Surplus for $80, which I thought was a lot. Hansgrohe brushed nickel, presumably over brass.

Image

She bought it entirely because it was supposed to be a "fun" bathroom and it reminded her of a Red Dwarf scutter

Before I could get it installed, the project manager (wife) and chief designer (ditto) changed to a two-sink layout, so we went looking for a matching tap

http://www.hansgrohe-usa.com/us_en/1208 ... 363137.htm

holy faucetts Batman - $1700 !!!

Needless to say, we got two taps of a different design. I'm thinking of framing the scutter instead :D
