Yep,

I've test driven a few and found one that fits the bill.

Dan did a great job of checking out and filling in the blanks, now only time will tell if i Win the auction.

I see the mx-5 as a more modern version of the triumph spitfire which I love

Gutted didn't win it, the rival bidder spent the last 15mins chipping away at my max bid and finally broke me.

Should have played the sniper game and waited till the last minute but didn't realise that I would have Internet access at the very end of then auction so I had to put my max bid in several hours before the end

Feel very sad now :(

Sniping is the only way to win an auction (for a reasonable price) in my opinion. If you know you can bid yourself with 20 seconds to go, then use a free "sniper bid service", such as http://www.justsnipe.com/ - or one of the many on google.
I'm sure you've seen yourself James on (popular) items you've sold, that nearly all the bids happen in the last couple of minutes in nearly all cases. :geek:

Due to the othe bidder pulling out and the seller accepting my lower offer we now have the mx-5 tucked up in the garage.

So it all worked out good in the end
