If we can get the parts we can all all that in a day easily. Don't worry Carl you'll still make it to Belfast.

Ok , Jason just got off phone, he has offered to strip out his fans and cowling and I will drive over to collect on Friday or Saturday.

Sunday 15th May

Dereham, Norfolk

Bozzy, Al, Dan, Carl confirmed, Pete (maybe)

Radiator - In stock
Fans - In stock - Jason Monk - AV to collect
Cowling - In stock - Jason Monk - AV to collect

Carl, undo and take off one of the hoses on the bottom of the radiator and remainder of the coolant will drain out, take one of the jubilee clips off and take to a motor factors and buy 6, as Jason pointed out they prob wont go back on again properly.

OK, that's excellent, I'll get to work! 8-)

Arran, if you can send the fuel filter and parts for the fuel pump setup that would be great and we'll see how big these other jobs are before deciding whether to tackle them. I'm firmly going on the motto of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and the rad and fans definitely do need fixing!

That said, is there anything else I would need if we were to get round to replacing the fuel pump, someone mentioned about a pickup hose, or failing that just wedging a spring in there to support the original one?!

Whilst I think about it, does somebody have the specialist tool for removing the sump plug to do an oil change? From memory, I think it's an 8mm square socket?

Dan, let me know if you do have those clips, we've got a motor factors just down the road if needs be.

Thanks again guys.

Yes I have the tool, does it need changing desperately?

See if you can get some cardboard for lying on, spillages etc.
