Yes the 13 car convoy was great!
Really great weekend - thanks to Rob, Paul, Thomas etc for making it happen and working non-stop whilst we were enjoying ourselves! Not to mention the track cleaning crew - I saw what it was like before! Good to see everyone again - old faces and new faces. Just to drop in a big shout out to some unsung heros from DeLorean Club UK this weekend - the effort put in to build the club and help out never ceases to amaze me. To run a club of this size, providing all the great things we do, is not without cost, and great to see so many people giving up their free time to help out, helping to make DeLorean ownership in Europe that little bit easier for us all. So in no particular order, thanks from me go to:
- everyone who came. It's the first time for me to be at an event of that size, so great to see 80 cars in one place!
- Julian and Lisa for making Friday night that little but more special!
- Alistair for working non-stop forging international relations - lending his car to - what was it? - representatives of 5 countries? so they could experience the test track first-hand
- Steven Wynne for being his usualy charming self, and putting up with my driving around the track!

- some really great driving in the convoys over and back (from England), managing (mostly) to stay together for most of it!, in some difficult weather and traffic
- Tony Openshaw for helping Carl out with an otterstat bridge cable. I don't think I saw any "real" breakdowns all weekend? Can that be possible?!
But most of all, some of you may have noticed the "product fair" took us a little bit by storm, not really knowing what to expect. Out of three full boots of stuff we only took half a boot back! Thanks to everyone who jumped in to help without even being asked
- Nick T was simply amazing. You have a real talent there - got to be DCUK's top salesman!
- and finally. Maria, Tyson and Tom I. Tom for the photography on the excellent 13-page DCUK 2012 Calendar (available in all good retailers), Tyson for his supreme delegation skills, and Maria, who must have put in literally 100s of hours of proper hard work, making us the "best dressed club in the world"!, and very graciously surviving a panic attack when it suddenly dawned on us how many people were all over our makeshift "stand"
This picture is on the OzDeLorean link a couple of pages back - only one I've found so far. Those

sold three times over! - and nothing to compared to the new
club lower ball joints!
