I participated in a BMW Track Day Experience today. Out of 123 visitors at Bedford Aerodrome today I came in fastest. Tiff who also took me out for a 'spin' earlier in a production M3 V8 presents the prize bottle of Champagne.

Tiff really is like you see him on the tele, really down to earth and smiling the whole time. His amusing chuntering whilst the photos are taken gives a consistent 'pro' smile in the photos. I was completely in awe as he took me around the circuit, sideways the whole time in a road going BMW M3. I felt like I was in 'Fifth Gear' as he was the natural showman, commentating and throwing amusing comments at me during each spin of the wheels. He was even able to answer questions whilst power sliding around the circuit

Tiff later asked what I drive and I was curious as to what he thought of the DeLorean. He had driven one a long time ago and remembered it being fun but not particularly quick. I then explained about all the modifications that are possible with these cars and he was genuinely interested asking all about what the transmission, engine etc all were etc.

Today has been one of the best days of my life. Today I had the ultimate passenger experience which I doubt will ever be surpassed. The icing on the cake was to end up taking the track prepared M3 to the fastest time of the day.

Tiff really is the Ultimate Driving Machine!

Awesome work Chris! With driving skills like that we ought to have you down at a karting-tec sooner or later!!

Didn't Tiff have a very brief spell in F1 back in the day?
