Air conditioning Condenser

Postby mnickels » Sat Jul 25, 2009 3:48 pm

The core on mine is a bit battered having been protecting the radiator all these years. Also the connections for the pipework are dodgy as the pipes took a bit of persuasion to remove. I would feel a lot better to have a new one if anyone knows where is best to get one.

Well, with a frame off it makes sense while 'your in there'!

I have one from SpecialTAuto, takes a little thinking about to fix it to the radiator as IIRC , some rubber spacers needed to be used etc.

I cant tell you how it works as my aircon doesnt work and hasnt done for probably many, many years!..although it will soon, I know other people have them and they work good especially on R134.

The trouble with JH's one is it doesn't fit across the whole width of the rad and looks a bit naff. There're units on ebay for $140, no experience though, but they recon they use original brackets.
