Clue 3:

The name of the manufacturer is a British surname. He is widely regarded as inventing the "tracer" bullet in WW1 to shoot down Zepelin airships (as well as starting the car company that bears his name.)

I have literally spent minutes and minutes googling this and to no avail.

It doesn't seem to appear on the wikipedia page for "cars with gullwing door's", though the above mentioned Alvis does, but I don't see a photo of it.

The US patent for the tracer bullet is a one Norman Van Sickle, not the most British of surnames.

I'd like to "Phone a Friend" please - a Mr A. Jameson(sic), as he knows everything
