Its nearly Christmas !

For anything else not specifically DeLorean related....

This got me thinking, what if somebody would be able to restore this car to road-worthy and sell it, it would be worth around 30k, having the effect of tossing 470k behind the bins.

Don't forget the $28k for an OFFICIAL hoverboard.

Because, of course, the 1/2 million car didn't come with one. (are you allowed to mix props from different movies?)

Here's all the results

Well, the good news is that the car isn't destined for a museum.

The father/son pair that bought it already have two D's including a BTTF I/II car which they rent out with support for TeamFox charity.:

http://88mphtimemachine.com/index.php

This BTTF III car will be added to their stable. They bought a bunch of other stuff too:

We also got Martys 1955 jacket, Docs shirt from all three movies, Martys cowboy suit (he wore it while driving the car), three of the four crew jackets and a few other goodies. We will be adding the website created by the restorer, Desi Dos Santos (www.bttf3delorean.com) to our website for our part 1/2 car, www.88mphtimemachine.com . We plan on using the car for charitable purposes to benefit the Michael J. Fox Parkinsons Research Foundation, TeamFox
