Over on dmctalk there's a long thread about how the car got impounded by the police because it didn't have a VIN plate - the guys at West Coast Customs lost it during the modifications. So it can't legally be driven anywhere - I would bet this is a cover up story to hide the fact it's been taken off to the crusher...
