Hi all, My mate Will and I had a really good day working on the car yesterday. Will has done various bits an pieces to the engine and yesterday it finally went in! :D Also put the rear calipers on, hand brake cables, fans, air con condesner. So the car is getting there and I'm really pleased with how it's looking! So here is a few photos.

Looking superb Ollie nice one!

Have you overhauled the auto circuit board (computer)?

Might be worth doing that now as it will be easy to get to.

Thanks Nick :D

Yeah J gave me a refurbed computer, I forget who refurbed it but think it came from Vegas?

Hopefully not too far away now from getting the tub back on!?

Top job Ollie and Will!!

Maybe you should get another over from the US after this one and do it all again!

Thanks Alistair! I must admit I have thought about it, should be heading over to America in the next year or so. Might have to look into it at that time. don't tell the girlfriend. ;)

That it does. I still owe you some money for that mate. Meant to give it to J when picking up the engine. Got cash out on the way then completely forgot. PM your PayPal details?

That looks really good, nice work. :D Don't tighten up your suspension arm bolts until the tub is back on and the car is settled down to the height it wants to sit at, otherwise you pre-load the rubber.

I'm not picking holes, just some advice.... on your fuel lines from the pump you've used jubilee clips. I would remove them and use proper fuel line clamps:

I did the same as you originally when I did my chassis. I even used brand new good quality stainless jubilees and they still leaked fuel! Swapped them for the proper clamps and never had a problem again. There's a hell of a lot of pressure there.
