Have sent my Tranny to a Renault Racing expert for the Alpine A310, A610 GTA, R5 turbo teams currently holding top places at the worlds toughest Classic Rally Acropolis.

Good thing I opened he Transmission... apparently a no good Manual driver has messed up the tranny for good.
Second gear pin as expected was knocked off the one side and bent the other end.
New one was installed, plus a second internal added for more strength.

Bearing housing was scraped

Reverse gear had been slaughtered, second gear sync springs and cones are wasted and the shaft clutch was bent for some reason swaying the clutch and throughout bearing in turns...:dead:

Waiting on some parts to close that up again...

Replace the knackered manual with the more highly desirable Mighty Auto variant and be amazed at the more relaxed driving experience it entails with its knee saving potential it offers. ..

I am sure it does Al! :text-imnewhere:

However I have already invested in that manual tranny peripherals too much and I am at a point of no return. :violin:
So far in stock:
- New slave and master cylinders
- SS clutch line
- SS stick shifter
- SS DMOCO Shifter plate
- Complete set of gaskets and bushings
- New Valeo performance clutch and throwout

Plus all the great used parts I got for a great deal ordered from Ed in NL.

:naughty: no turning back now.... :shifty:

Plus I prefer holding my Di.... errr Stick when I am driving!

With my now bad leg, i would actually prefer an automatic transmission. But seeing how much i've done to the car, i'll keep her, and just spend a few bucks on a gym to get my strength back.

Mutual love of the Delorean cars eh!
Keep up the good work Αλεχακοσ :D
I'm sure you'd be up to driving the car soon Rob, but you might have to look at the Rev counter to see if the engine is running with all that sound proofing !
