just made an appointment with DMC Eu to do a few things i can't do myself. One is the way overdue windscreen replacement, the second is airconditioning. Some other bits too, including an overdue MOT. Seeking funds as we speak.

I will give him my regards. I still have 2 months before he can cut me in though, plenty of time left.

Anyway, the windscreen was already cracked when i bought the car around '99. The upper glass layer is broken from side to top. This has never been an MOT issue because there was no chance of breaking or expanding. It just looks terrible. 5 years ago I wanted to have it replaced but at that time there were no windscreens available. CarGlass and other windscreen companies in the Netherlands rejected the job. So there was little I could do. We tried to arrange a windscreen-install-tec at EuroTec in 2009 but that didn't happen because I cancelled it.

I'll be tackling the exchange of my window regulators these coming days. I found this great video explanation of do's and don'ts. Perhaps someone else benefits from this link.

Whatever you do, protect yourself from the sharp edges of the stainless steel. I can post you some extruddd rubber edging to prevent this but if you're doing it this weekend, use several layers of masking or duct tape.

Keep up the good work Rob!
