Filled up my system with coolant.... And there was some dripping going on right behind the water pump pulley coming from that whole........

Does this mean I refurbished the pump for nothing??? :(

Or is it common at the fill up to have some drops until it settles?

one step forward...two steps back...:(
After having the timing cover removed to correct the timing sequence..... I Filled her up with antifreeze and there it was... My worries that it would drip.

The dripping came from the classic leak whole behind the pulley right under side.

The whole pump refurbishment was for nothing,.

PLUS I had to re drain the coolant, remove the Kjet and the intake manifold.
Back to square two!

Look on the bright side, at least it happened now and it didn't overheat causing further damage!

I've no doubt you know exactly what you're doing, but why is the CPR on the right side of the engine?

You make it look too easy! Truly awesome...

Congrats! You are the only one to notice that! I actually just put it there temp until I finish laying out all the hosing that goes around the right side. If was in the way.

It's really not too hard, but it requires patience and every mistake costs dearly;)

waiting for my water pump to arrive, I installed the drive axles.
Remember how I had fully refurbished them with fresh grease, sandblasted and powder coated the shaft and put it all together?

This was them puppies back when I took em off

This is what the place down there looked like before I even bought it...

On a second note...

I finally got in touch with Myron's Stylianides family.
Myron was the head of Administration and employees back in the Legendary factory in Dunmury since 1977, having hired most of the high ranking executives along with Charles Bennignton.
Unfortunately Myron has passed and the Delorean Employee reunion on May will be missing his attendance. I am sure he will be present in all DMC's employees minds.
R.I.P. Myron.

Well done for tracking down the family, I know Barrie Willa was trying to contact him.

Nice work on the axles
