I guess as long as the import duty is paid on this car, it's only about £250-300 to get a V5 isn't it? The thing I didn't take into consideration that cost me the most was a good alarm and immobiliser (£400-450 if I remember correctly).

It's a hard one to answer really, but given the price I can get a great one from the US, I would say no more than £20k for a UK car that is already registered. Pop me a pm if you know of anyone and they want to keep the sale private etc.

DVLA £55 registration fee, and then first years road tax (slightly discounted if memory serves) approx £220-£225, so around £280 tops all in.
