I think so. I found a shop but they charge quite the postage 2KG for €39+€12,50, so i'm still on the lookout.

Nice going Rob! I had to remove the nice looking red alpine ht's cause apparently the Renaults have a different spark plug head and they don't grip onto the Delorean spec plugs.

Of course. please allow me some time and photograph the situation tomorrow. I sprained my lower leg today. Walking to the garage again isn't a pleasure right now.

Finally managed to order a $30 HID kit for the low beams, plus relays and connectors.

My headlights are already H4/H1 so other than the 12v line it is a screw and play kit basically. Another benefit is that i don't have to perform the headlight switch mod to save my switch from future damage :).

Nice job for the summer i think. It's Chinese so it may take a few weeks before it arrives. Can't be that bad, they sell the same junk in the high street here for over €150.

I have installed such a set on my Delo. The only drawback on those cheap kits is that the ballasts are crap and it takes half a minute for the light to get its 100% beam strength. It's alright for night driving but as good as poop when you want to signal with the high beams.. I the daylight its invisible.

I ordered just the one kit (for the low beams), because I hardly use the high beams anyway. Last time was 2001 I believe. And what do you mean by 'in the daylight it is invisible'. Did you get the 35W or the 55W kit?
