I have never understood why the autos get slammed so much by stick owners. I mean if you have a manual DeLorean...it's still a DeLorean and if you raced a mom in a minivan full of kids on their way to a pizza party, the pizza will be cold by the time you catch up to them and all that's left is some melted ice cream.

No need getting cocky over having a few extra gears, the PRV doesn't quite know what to do with them anyway.

It's just friendly banter Michael, we know (manual or auto) that they're all equally crap.

Having been in a couple of properly tuned auto D's, they can easily keep pace with a manual.

I'm happy to drive a manual, it keeps my left leg in good shape.

In the Uk Michael, manual (stick shift) cars were for those who are “able” to drive.
Automatics traditionally here in UK were for folk who lacked the metal and physical co-ordination required to drive a manual car.
Ideal for the disabled or these days the “too fat to walk” slovenly brigade and of course the odd visiting American.

Darren that's bollocks!!! All the top performance cars don't have manual option these days, and my Delorean is auto and I'm not fat and slovenly, infact
I am very fit, especially in my right are arm. No body can beat me masturbating. I am a top wanker!!!

That's because the world has had to dumb down to protect people from themselves now there's no natural selection and only litigation. ;)

Oh I know...I love banter. I was looking for a manual when I came across a smoking deal on a stage II auto refurb...couldn't pass it up. For me, it's a weekend cruiser, so I really don't care if it's a stick or auto. It's a sunny day only Sunday driver and having an auto lets me enjoy my wine and cheese while I cruise.

Now then, I must obviously have the more desirable auto because I'm a fat lazy Northern git ! :(

Jay, you can't be exercising the right arm for long as there's no difference in size between your arms ;)

DMCTodayMichael Sir, it's highly obvious Auto's are for the connoisseur gentleman who have exquisite taste and high taste. ... that, plus I got mine cheap. . ;)
