I wrecked two 1/2" socket wrenches because it simply couldn't handle the torque on stuck nuts (i must be too strong). Though i must say that those sets were of the worst possible quality!

For "frozen" nuts one shouldn't use a ratchet system but a breaker bar and even then....

One of the lessons learnt by now. Those actions were in my early days of tinkering. Next to that i have the proper tools by now.
