I completely agree with what you're saying, which is why I originally mentioned I'd be detailing the car to tidy it all up and servicing it before selling. The rust will not be there for long, it is booked in to my excellent mechanic on Monday, where he will service the vehicle and clean up all rust underneath and treat it. I wasn't aware of the hoses before entering this forum so I will raise this issue with him and see if he can replace it also. And I will get him to look at anything else that needs addressing. If not, a lower price can always be negotiated to cover the cost for the next owner to rectify these issues.
I have no desire to sell my car in a poor way, I'd love it to be in the best condition possible. It is still £2000 cheaper than the next cheapest DeLorean for sale currently in the U.K. So this is where I am basing my price on, including trying to rectify any issues.
The car is based in Manchester.
Any other questions I'm happy to help.
Daniel Shane wrote:Wow that is strong money. Like Al said i would really expect to see a lot of updates and work done on a Car for that price. Minimum I would expect is the chassis to be clean, all fuel hoses changed, the wishbones and suspension to be rust free and no oil leaks.
Where abouts is the car located ?
