Brilliant Job there Jez :D

You need to do a "ReaperMeter" instead of the True False one

Seriously though, a great little, informative movie!

Nice one Gez! 8-)

Watched it last night, very informative, entertaining and educational! Some superlative knowledge there, you've clearly carried out a lot of extensive research and you and your team have put a lot of hours into it - bloody good work Sir! :dmcdoors:

Thought you came across really well and personable. I know you already have experience acting, but presenting to camera is a lot more challenging. I'm curious to know how many takes/edits there were (didn't feel like many) but I guess that's the magic of editing! How many hours of footage did you originally shoot, compared to what you ended up with?

Is there a blooper reel? :D

Awesome video, you drove to Méribel alone in your car?
What a trip!
By the way I am about two hours drive from there :)

Thanks for the great feedback everyone :)

Shane - Yes I've felt that the world needed this kind of DeLorean video for a long time too, so finally got round to doing it :)

Carl - re the takes, there weren't all that many. I wrote the script in advance, but then improvised on the day according to what I wanted to cover, so it was really only one or two takes to get it in the bag. The road trip wasn't remotely scripted (and was shot a month earlier), so all that stuff was off the hoof. Volume of footage wise it's not so much the takes as the camera roll around the times you're actually going for one. Probably a couple of hours of footage in total, but every exterior shot of the car we got went in the video. We were struggling with rain on the day so didn't get anywhere near as much as we'd have liked, so I really had to milk those exteriors to cover the narrative. I've even flopped a couple of them to make them work better - see if you can spot where :)

Quality comment here on youtube:

1. there was no Euro-Spec, these Cars where all the same. Take a look at the Parts Catalogue online. The Car was never delivered to Euro Countrys, cause this would have needed several Changes, like bo Side Markers, other front Turn Signals, Wiring, etc... 7 2. where is the AC gone ? / 3.the Doors are not "heavy", they are balanced by gas Struts and Torsion bars. Talking about "heavy" lets people think they need to lift heavy weights. You just pull the Lever and they swing up. / 4.the Steering is accurate - rebuild the Parts and get them to Status "new", then it´s accurate. / 5. It´s NOT based on a LOTUS Espeit Chassis, that´s a Legend / Bullshit! / 6.ALL Bushings in all Cars move and "Wobble", thats on purpose - swap them to simply new ones and the Car rides smooth again. / 7.you may should maintain your Car better, then your Speedo would work, / 8.... cancelled the Video after 15 Minutes, cause full of Nonsens....

You are comparing a nearly 40 Year old worn out and fucked up Car. Drive mine, restored to almost new and THEN compare. Sorry, Buddy, bud your Video is full on Nonsens and Myths. Well, I missed the "Doors opening in small Spaces - BS" .... ;-)

How do I know this? Well, I restored one and I own a DeLorean... Got EVERY available Book about this Vehicle.
