Fantastic weekend all round, great to see everyone again

Thank you to all who put time and effort in setting up the excellent retro 80's theme, it took me right back to my teens 8-) The 80's themed fancy dress was brilliant (and I'm sure we all love a bit of dress up).

I enjoyed play time with the cars too :D

I hope everyone had fun and got back ok

What a fantastic weekend
Goes by far too quickly!
Many thanks to everyone who organised, and to those who made such generous raffle prize donations. What a great result for the two charities
Can't wait to see the fancy dress pictures, still chuckling thinking about it
Great to see the Irish fellas, (can't believe it's been so long since we last saw you) & meet some new faces too :D

Here's looking forwards to the next one

Another awesome weekend, it was great to see everyone again! The 80's themed fancy dress was a blast, everyone put in some quality efforts on the costumes. Well done to everyone involved in putting together this years main event.

Good to see the lads from Ireland over and to meet the new faces.

Roll on October!

Cheers,

2018 DeLorean EuroTec Weekend - 22 June 2018 - Norfolk, UK

What a weekend that was!

Nice to see some new faces who enjoyed themselves , and the Irish contingent once again making the trip representing DeLorean Owners of Ireland.

We had 25 cars at one point Saturday in the car park with over 65 attendees.

The amount of work which went into the fancy dress was amazing.

Great success at the quiz/raffle/auction we raised a WHOPPING £2711.00 !!!!!!

to be split between Cancer Research ( Rob van der Veer) and MIND ( Mike ‘Bozzy’ Bosworth)

Thanks Kerrie for the singing and disco, Dragonfly Hotel for their excellent hospitality again, chief auctioneer James Russell Grant ,Matt Hughes for the cake !
Thanks to everyone who came and donated and those who donated prizes/items and anyone I have forgotten.

Thanks a million Alex Vanstone, Claire Knowlton and Maria Clark for organising such a brilliant night - so much work went on behind the scenes in preparation.

Lots of tech stuff completed in the car park - crank pulley seal, panel alignment , tuning , louvre and engine cover replacement, speedo cable replaced, and air conditioning recharges/ fault finding and mode switch repair.

Well done to Gez Medinger and Richard Mayo for winning the go karting and the Rob Van der Veer memorial trophy until next year!

All cars made it there and home with no hiccups , great performance considering the searing heat.

Roll on next year - plans are already underway with one already confirmed special guest!

What a great weekend, the first time for many years (since the kids came along) that we have managed the Friday and Saturday night and I’m so glad we did. The go-Karting was excellent, sorry for loosing you the title Mec, maybe next year.

I was amazed at the effort that went into the fancy dress, and to raise such a substantial amount of money from a small group of 50 odd folks was just incredible. So much work behind the scenes so well done to all involved.

7 days prior to the event my car didn’t even have an engine in, or an MOT, but we got there and aside from a slight wobble on Saturday afternoon (solved by cleaning up dirty electrical connector) the car didn’t miss a beat.

Even the drive home was fantastic, some lovely tree lined, straight, uncrowded roads through Thetford in bright sunshine, perfect.
Looking forward to the next meet, we’re hoping to come to the mini-meet in October (with car of course)

So busy chatting and having a great time I honestly don't think I took a single photo! so do upload what you have for all to see!
