It was great to meet up with people. I "enjoyed" helping to refit 814's rear end at the same time being amazed by the flocked coin tray, textured pontoons and narrow louvre supports! Thanks for taking me out - I literally went dizzy as you went "around the corner" !!
I loved walking around the teckie activities in the car park in the afternoon.
I tried posting 40 odd pictures on FB last night and it crashed whilst doing so - so I'll try again later.
Two great gestures from guys at the event to help in my work on #11789......
An Engine cover bracket (the one screwed into the centre rear bulkhead)
- and the one thing that has really brought my D into the world of not looking like a barn find - a wooden rear panel - fits under the rear windscreen and blocks off the interior pontoons - cheers Miles and Mr & Mrs Coles - it's the right coloured carpet too and looks AWESOME !!!!!
