I put one in mine a few months back(surprisingly easy!) I just replaced the standard antenna with a CB whip and it worked fine.
Could be a cool idea for the trip to Hamburg maybe?

The Binatone Action 1100 two way radio is the communication method of choice for convoy driving.

They can be picked up relatively cheap used: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Binatone-Act ... 2944283790 Or circa £45-£50 brand new.

Domi, I put the antenna where the usual radio antenna goes in the rear vent, although I am trying to find better positions to lower the SWR. I would never drill holes into the dash! double sided tape is the best option I think.

Thats's a good idea!
If I remember well, I saw some people with an antenna where the luggage rack is mounted.
You're right, no drill on the dashboard, but some people did.
