After som grinding and taking it on and off 5 times, the front bumper fits with no issues.

The small cylindrical wire connectors are the bonnet light connections

Probably fairly standard. Does the bonnet catch the fascia when it opens?

If not, I dont think that's too severe?

I hand to grind down part of the front wings (the recessed part hidden by the fascia) where they bolt to the tub - they were fouling on the fascia, causing them to sit on the corners a little like your pic above.

If you remove the fascia you might see marks underneath where the stainless is rubbing.

They are a bit of a bollocks though. I think they shrink over time and there isn't much that can be done about it?

I'm more concerned with the curve of the hood not matching that of the bumper.

If you can’t throw a cat between the panels then they are too close & not Delorean spec ;)

Well, I got the heater back in, along with the dashboard and instrument binnacle. Slow but steady getting there.

:)
