I think Tyson means the control arm supports, i.e. these: https://www.deloreango.com/uk/front-low ... -pair.html

yes you are correct mike I was unsure the tec name for them but I must say they look mint and if they do what they say should improve handling.

I have chosen a slightly different set of fans for my car, these are made by Pro Alloy for a Sierra Cosworth however with a few small mods they fit the De nicely, they use Spal Fans which are very nice quality..

OK CONTINUED FROM LAST POST

So then we come onto the engine, there was nothing really wrong with it before it was removed just like to leak oil from various places so thats been addressed

The Sump has been removed, cleaned and refitted with a new gasket, also the rocker covers, front crank case have had the same treatment, cleaned with all new gaskets, the rear main sill replaced along with the housing gasket and the front crank sill also replaced.

Whilst i was there the block was looking a bit tired from when i painted it so thats now had new paint and also since the attached pic its had 2 coats of high temp laquer too.

Before the chassis went to be dipped i traced the original number off the back of it so it could be reinstated, Gem traced it back on for me so i could re write it in marker pen just like the factory did..

Bloody hell mec that is quick work. It's going to be back on the road before mine at this rate, dunno how you find the time!

Great work though, looking really good. Bet its a weight off your mind having the body back on and it rolling again instead of a pile of bits.
