If it’s only a weep, just ‘let it develop’ as it’s known in the trade. In other words fuck it & just put a drop of oil in now & again.
Realistically, how many miles a year is it likely to do.

The bigger trips will be the meetups. Ill keep an eye on it and the oil level too

So it appears my oil leak IS just coming from the crank seal. Its dripping down on to the sump and following the lip all the way round. Phew! Can rest a little easier now.

mine leaked for 10 years til i just changed it, very little oil can look huge but in reality its par for the course and nothing to worry about

I plan on changing the seal when i upgrade to the stainless exhaust. When that will happen, i dont know

He's a mascot of sorts. I tend to take him with me and take pictures of him in places i visit. Its a quirk of mine. I got the idea from jackie chan who takes 2 stuffed panda toys with him everywhere he goes. Ive named him spike. He seems to find the car pretty comfortable.
