Passenger side one
The socket has to go at a bit of an angle and can slip off easy and get lost in the door

Put a bit of tape round it

Ive noticed today that the engine cradle has oil on it now on the front and back lips. The trans just above the cradle is also wet in places. Can the oil travel that far (from the pulley crankshaft end where i know is a leak) or is it as i fear the seal behind the clutch like in the Wheeler Dealers episode? Basically do i have to replace both the seals now? I check the oil regularly too and it doesnt appear to be going down. Could there be a trans leak instead? I dont think its coming from the lip/O ring seals but i havent ruled those out either. It looks dry around that immediate area.

My idle was playing up a little today too. Whilst i was at the lights i noticed the car would rev by itself to the 1500 rpm mark then back down to just under 1000 rpm like it should. It would do this roughly every 5 seconds or so. Any ideas?

Gearbox oil stinks. If it just smells like normal engine oil then its not your gearbox.

It sound exactly like crank seal behind the flywheel to me. Mines weaping as well at the moment.
