Hi Dermot

Still ongoing, I got a reg but no record at the DVLA, I have another way which Albert is going to help me with.

Also the salvage company which had another written off car offered it to Albert in the early 90's, I contacted the salvage company who are looking through their records.

So all is not lost.....yet!

Just reading this again - he was paralysed from the waist down, from crashing into a signpost?! :shock:

Am I basically risking my life by driving at over 10mph?

The only sensible thing to do is drive everywhere at 135mph, that way at least the outcome would be exactly the same as in any other car!

Not yet, I got a reg number but the DVLA drew a blank via phone but plan B is underway with the archives at DVLA
