My contact at the Kuwaiti dealership had two personal DeLoreans, one was painted Red and they were both looted in the Gulf War

These could be the same cars

Will work on Vins but could be hard work!

We've tracked down the photographer, who lives near Mosul, I have a feeling the translation may get tricky!

So sad to see the DeLorean in such a sad shape :(
I will never understand why they leave the car like this, if they don't want them anymore, they just have to sale them to make another happy customer and save a part of car history.

I suspect there isn't much of a market for basket case DeLoreans in Iraq right now...

A 3rd car has surfaced in Iraq but has definitely been crushed you cannot get a new registration in Iraq, you have to have the old car crushed.
Apparently this car was abandoned and someone had it crushed to get the reg offImage

That pic is the equivalent of the ones you see on the front page of the papers with the hostages in the orange jumpsuits...

Surprisingly emotive!

Where do you keep finding these pictures? You have 'proof' that this car was crushed? Not that I don't believe you, but it wouldn't be the first car they discover somewhere in a shed in 30 years time thinking it was destroyed ...
