" Old stock to be re-used for Middle Eastern cars "

The references to TSA1548 are where the early style pullstraps were modified to work with the later style integrated strap door panels. This batch on January 25 did not require the re-work as they were being fitted to earlier doors.

Dates 25/1/82

Thanks to James Espey for allowing us to present these.

My UAE D ....... thankfully I found the original pull straps in my "box of bits". The leather has responded well to some "cream". The D rings need some attention to the surface rust.

I've heard of a product called "J12" that's good for rubbing in, but I've never been able to find a source. I must have got the reference wrong.

Auto glym leather conditioner may be a good alternative
