JUST A BIT OF FUN!!!!
I just thought i would start off this topic. Thought if money was no object what would you do to your delorean (if anything)
to make it better,and no tony we wont set it on fire
myself personaly i would get chris from gradys to pollish up my car like his one.

Maybe a Stage 2 kit from DMCH...

And if you're really talking money no object then I'd hire Lotus to redesign and refabricate the front suspension

What is the stage two? and how many bhp do you get from it?

I'd buy an aston martin db9.

I'd also have a totaly new chassis built to fit a delorean body, with proper suspension, proper engine etc.

Buy a musuem to keep it in.

I would buy USF1 (probably pretty cheap t.b.h) and re-brand it as "DeLorean F1". Bribe the FIA to allow a DeLorean within the rules, possible install a rear wing with Dan's DeLorean Club banner on it (gotta keep them sponsors happy!), then hire Dan as my star driver and go racing with Schumacher!

Stage 2 is uprated cams, pistons, fuelling & exhaust, possibly some other stuff. Gives 197bhp according to DMCH.

Seriously though, DeLoreans in F1 would look silly (!!) - how about buying an existing GT team and designing a chassis to drop a DeLorean body on and race it in GT-racing? Rock it out (and be competitive-ish) at the Le Mans 24 hours... awesome

Way more power, way more torque... and a lovely whooshy noise...

I'd buy myself some free time to allow for more DeLorean driving when the weather is nice. Or invest in weather control systems.

But seriously, If I had the money, I doubt I would enjoy it so much.

I would be too busy enjoying my jacuzzi on the top of my big yacht cruising around the caribbean enjoying the company of many fine looking ladies to worry about re-brushes
