I for one would like to see some sort of a cleaning kit, with rags, BKF (or any other), scotch pad, glass shine etc, to go on the clubs shop, would be nice for gifts etc.

Steve, just get a scotch blending pad they come off easily, just remember to blend with the grain and don't press too hard i may damage the grain.

Go and get some Barkeepers friend or shiny sinks that will also get it off

It's not uncommon for rusty or salt water to drip on cars while being shipped.

If you've "damaged" the grain, it will stick out like a sore thumb, the only real fix is to get it re-brushed.

Try the barkeepers first, use a CLOTH, not any form of scouring pad. If it won't come off, then it's a re-brush at PJ Grady's

Worse case is someone using wire wool, that's embedded in the stainless and gone rusty...big trouble.

I recently purchased some stainless steel cleaners: they both are powder, like bkf.
To be tested in next months!

I've used BKF and the Delorean does gleam and comments I had from friends have noticed a significant difference.

Question I have though, is that I have been using it wet on the panels. Is that correct or am I suppose to use it dry and then, hose the car down?

Applying it wet, I get dry wet spots/shadows all over the panels which was a pain as I had to rewash it again with BKF and shammy straight away before letting the water dry. I'm actually cursing to wash the car again because of this.

Has anyone tried AutoGlyms's metal polish on their Delorean? I saw it at my local car detailer and wondered if it would be good on deloreans..
