Wow...from the docs it looks like its taken a few flights in its time.

It'll be good to see the history of this car.

Sounds interesting. Here is the link to the archived version of the PJ Grady UK site before it closed down: http://web.archive.org/web/200806260922 ... _Cars.html - has the full details of the pilot cars.

Supposedly for a fifth wheel for testing purposes

Yes - but how/why/which way round etc? Or was it a spare rear wheel, attached to the back Land Rover style?!

Nice to see some Norfolk plates too! :D

Yep nice Norfolk registration there!

Lotus had a James Bond Esprit film car registered OPW 654W.

James is going to get the full vin, and he has tasked me with trying the DVLA.

Okies ..yes ive just read that now .. I too am a little unsure what that would entail :)

Perhaps all that power caused the front end of the car to lift up on acceleration ?? :)

Is that a full size spare under the trunk ?? :)

Nice one Al! Yes "For Your Eyes Only". There were two cars in that film - one white, one bronze, both with OPW plates:
