Hello All

We are very pleased to announce that Mr Nick Sutton (Purchasing Manager, DeLorean Motor Cars 1978 to 1983) will be joining us in the 'DeLorean Club' Chat room this Thursday 16th July at around 9pm BST (UK time)

Im sure there are many of you that would love to join us and ask Nick a question or two on his time with DMC, so we all look forward to seeing you online then.

Our thanks again goes out to Nick for his valuable time.

Can I humbly suggest that someone takes the role of "ringmaster", and then questions are taken in order of who's on the list, controlled (ie told to go ahead, or shut up) by the Ringmaster. Otherwise it could all just be one big free-for-all.

If it goes well, I'll ask Mike L if he might be interested in joining one in the future.

Is this being advertised on the "other" forum?

We are onto this already but hadnt finalised it ...but we needed to make the announcement!! it makes sense..... looking at using the pm system to control the questions etc..we'll get a post up here very soon with the exact specifics of how it will work..and Mike L would be very, very good.

Yep - it might be a good idea to mention it on DMC Talk Martin - I hadn't thought of that. We've chosen a late-ish time to try and involve some of our USA members, as well as our European members who might be interested.

Good idea Martin. The last "big chat event" had 3 users though :lol:

We have managed 10 on a busy night with about 100 posts in 10 minutes - much more than that and chat room will start to show obvious signs of "lag"

Be prepared to ok an influx of new members from the US who're only here for the show though.

BTW just to make clear - do you mean 9pm GMT as in 10pm current time (British Summer Time)?
