Today, myself and Gez had a tech day to get a few jobs done on Gez's car. Here are a few pictures you might be interested in seeing.

On the train on the way back to London now after leaving the car at my dad's. Everything obviously takes three times longer than it should do because the car is a delorean but we did make progress apart from my car giving dan's AIDS!

One other thing we got done- handbrake tightening. It's loads better now.

Cheers for today Dan! It's novel being able to see out of my side mirrors too... :D

No Arran I'm waiting for my springs to turn up. Hopefully they will come in the week. You can see in the photo above how low it is at the front.

How is the steering gez? With the steering wheel centered on the rack does it drive straight with the steering wheel in the middle? What a bastard that was to get off!!!

Yeah it was a bastard wasn't it?! It should come off easily again now in the future though shouldn't it?

As for the steering - it's actually not quite straight - maybe 5 or 10 degrees off. So I'll get the tracking done to sort that out...

Might even take Mr Stiggy's advice and splurge out on a geometry session.

NB - not sure which is making more difference (steering column bushing or DPNW front bushes) but the car defo felt tighter and more like a normal car on the way back. Definitely reckon it's taken some of the sketchiness out of the handling..

7176 is certainly getting there now :D

If you want a stiggy style geometry done on it, theres a place in Maldon which does it with the same Hunter system.
