Hi all,

I was round at Chris Hawes today and he noticed that my frame epoxy is damaged from what must have been from leaky brake fluid.

Is POR 15 good for this repair? if so, what colour and where can I get the stuff from?

I looked on ebay and I also found this Item 380106790731.......(could be handy cos I managed to damage my steering wheel yesterday  )

Wow that seems a little steep, I don't know what you get for £60, but if I remember correctly I paid less than that to have my wheel recovered in leather!

I used http://www.frost.co.uk it's £17.50 a pint but i'd get a pack of the little tins as the stuff doesn't keep once the lid is opened, The grey colour is quite close to the original epoxy as well.

Hope this helps.

You could try some of the same stuff thats on the chassis already :)

This way you can mix the colour to match your car.

Some pics from my POR 15 painting. It was only after I applied a rust converter that I read the POR 15 tin that said don't use it!
