Great, I will be printing these off for my planned Euro adventure.
RAC want £160 to offer Euro cover to Italy (single trip) or £260 multi trip. Or do I just take some hand tools?
Do we have a list of friendly garages or European members that maybe able to offer advice/help?

We have many friends here in France and Italy, what is your planned route mate? We could work out who was anywhere near the route.

How much room do you have to carry some spares?

Frig wire
Both belts
Cable ties
Otterstat
Fuel pump
Jubilee clips various sizes
Fuses
Spanners/screwdrivers

Just a few I was thinking of, maybe we could all put together a 'must carry' list for any trip over 5 miles!!!

Well there is two of us going, we hope to do abit of camping on the way to keep costs down, so space will be tight.
No set route yet, except we start in Calais and have to get near Milan. Before hopefully following the Mille Miglia as close as possible down to Rome & back to near Milan.
Only definite stop on way back is CERN for a guided tour.
Anyone got any cool ideas of what to see/do please chip in. Someone has said we should nip over & do the Monaco GP route at 4am.

Got most of them, or they have been fitted new.
Also thrown in a Rotor arm.

But what is a Frig wire? :shifty:

Short piece of wire to temporarily link out devices if they have a problem, such as

otters tat to get the fans running
fuel pump relay to get the fuel pump running
Inertia switch to get the fuel pump running (very temporary!!!)

A "Frig" is a nickname for a "bodge" (and other things. .)

I know you say that some stuff has been fitted new......some of the stock set up is so on the edge in places with wiring etc, you wouldn't be the first or the last to have new stuff pack in

Frig wire is handy to have a short piece with female spades and another with male spades for linking out
