I am trying to compile a list of Back to the Future cars in Europe. (ie current owners of converted DMC with flux capacitor etc)
There are two in Ireland that I know of and at least one in England. Others???
Thanks for any help.

There are I think 3 or 4 on your island - 2 or 3 with Keith McCracken(?) (4278 is one of them, possibly 1076 is another? - there may not be a third)
Plus also one other that I can't quite remember about..Not sure if it is Northern or Southern? - I think it is VIN 2030

Who are the two you know about?

Over here, they are all in England:

2493 Mike H
3185 Ollie
5740 Tom
4787 Brian
10406 Steve Wickenden
1452 “Lord" Speakman
10680 Joe Macari
2631 Clive Priest
(5059??) Jason Bradbury
and one guy up north who is doing 3 of them, not sure how far he has got, or the VINs
Mike Bosworth may be doing another one - no-one knows for sure - Luke might.

France:
2014 Claude Miss

Belgium:
5424 http://www.back-to-the-future.be/

Italy:
10248 - displayed at Canevaworld Italy

Spain:
16858 - MT Performance ( Spain )

Poland:

I am the owner of vin 2030 based in the Republic Of Ireland ...I can confirm that its a standard car....NOT a BTTF car.

Who's car is in your picture Dave?

It isn't the one I was thinking of - when we were in Belfast a couple of months ago there was a car in ComicCon(?) that looked quite accurate - I'm sure it was Irish, but could have been Northern Irish, or could easily have come over from the mainland, but I have a feeling someone discovered who's it was - just can't remember!

The car in the avatar is our car vin 2030..we trick it out for various charity work ...we remove the rear louvers & engine cover and simply drop on a mock up rear vent & plutonium system with movie accurate flux capacitor fitted inside takes 20 mins. The car doesn't have flux bands , time switches , dials , wires etc etc etc etc etc... I cant bring myself to inflict this on the car. So we have the best of both worlds for whatever suits the occasion or event.

Heres a snap done by Irish Independent Newspaper at a huge charity event The Irish Cannonball. As you will see..don't think it qualifies as a bttf car yet can set off the general fun theme when called for. 95% of the time the car is a standard car. Hope this explains last thing I want is to have our car branded as a BTTF car. .... and before you guys ask no I didn't get a chance to give Roz a ride in the car ...although.. :D

I think a lot of people heard the show on Radio 2, on BTTF day which featured the 'film' car ... Found in a barn in Cornwall....apparently

It translates to the car formerly in Goldsmiths museum, having been bought by Joe Macari now has a 'film' background despite it being a replica built by Gary Weaver.

Mr Macari is convinced it's the 'C' car from the film....

Darren Collins is on speaking terms with Mr Macari and together with myself and Gary Weaver we have produced a dossier of information which proves it's not a film car, which has been forwarded.

To be fair Mr Macari does want to get to the bottom of it, let's see what happens.

I'm sure the owners of proper "official" cars will appreciate the efforts you are making. ;)

Seriously, good work by both you and Darren
