I noticed that next month's Octane are doing a big feature on DeLoreans - not sure how they'll include eurofest in the issue though as they'll already have to have the content?

Anyone know anything about this? Which cars they used - who they spoke to?

From Barrie Wills - It is written by Richard Bremner. He visited Belfast for the DeLorean Former Employees Reunion in May last year. He drove a twin-turbo DeLorean along a route selected by Rodney McComb (Irish car - formerly Nico's). Rodney planned the 50k endurance test runs in early 1981. It resulted in an excellent article in Classic & Sports Car magazine in September 2015. Richard also interviewed a number of former employees before he left Northern Ireland. It appears he's linking his piece to Stephen Wynne's "plans".

My understanding is that the Octane content is a big feature on the DMC-12 and DeLorean more broadly for issue 156 of Octane magazine, which goes on sale 27 April.

At the heart of the feature is a drive story written by John Simister, for which they take a DMC-12 for a spin on the roads around Dunmurry, and back to the site of the DeLorean factory. Last month Brian Hamilton very kindly supplied his car for the drive and photo shoot on the former test track at Montupet.

Eurofest, the world's largest international gathering of owners and cars is also promoted in the feature.
