Look what Mec found on Flea bay. 2.8 PRV6 from a Lancia Thelma, with K-Jetronic fueling. Unfortunately we think it maybe fucked as we done a compression test on 2 cylinders that we could get to easily and nothing registered on the gauge. So when i get time I will remove the fueling and inlet manifold and test all 6 cylinders without and with pouring a little oil down the cylinders to see if that improves anything and maybe prove my suspicions correct??? The block is solid though and the fueling is complete. More acquired shit for club spares

You gonna rebuild it for your car when you do the body off mec?

This one on ebay as well at the moment, but bit pricey for a load of crap that might not even work:

I have fueling bits from a Thema in the box of bits I got last year. Some small differences from the DeLorean and Volvo variants, but so far I've done nothing with the bits I have other than take inventory. I don't have the complete setup though as it came mixed in with some 262 and Renault Alpine bits.

Just thought I give an update on the Volvo I got off eBay
I've taken out the engine and sold the remainder of the car.
I then started to dismantle the engine, at first I was just going to clean it up, but it has turned into a full rebuild!!
The engine is now in component form and I'm cleaning all the parts, I've decided to some mild head work (just remove the bird shit casting lines) and imperfections
I've got new starter, alternator, cams, rockers, chains, tensioners, guides, bearings, seals and gaskets, I also managed to get a sandwich plate, and sump. I can now keep my original D engine as a good working spare and upgrade to the Volvo.
Thought I would share pics
