car tax cancelled - maintenance done.
anyone else doing the same?

Well I have found last few years the winters haven't been as harsh as previous years
If it's dry and no salt on road I tend to try and get it out occasionally

I've done the same thing Danny (and I even cleaned the car too), but kept the car tax, as like Al, I do get it out now and again. ..and the D

I use to do that until about 3 years ago when I left the De in the road for about an hour when working on my father in laws Volvo in the garage and a van just happened to come down my road and see it there with no tax and the next thing i know there a recovery lorry outside trying to tow it away, it cost me near on £300 for them to leave it there so now its taxed all the time just incase

I will admit I received my cheque from Her Majesty 2 days ago. It's not quite in the garage though - not enough room

Yeh my tax expired t'other day, so garaged until March ish. Got a few jobs to do over the winter including rear wheel bearings

Mines been on SORN for a year now What a stress-free years its been too

mine have been "advisories" for about 5 years now lol
