The Delorean is not taxed on emissions, same with any car before 2001, its done in bands on engine size of which there are 2, under 1549cc and over 1549cc, ours being over is the higher band of £235 a year

thanks for the replies.

Just want to assure you guys that I won't post here without without doing a modicum of research first.
Lunchtime, in work, I spent some time in The Gov Gateway (I work for HMRC - boooo) pursuing this. With 5 mins to go of my lunchbreak and still no answer I posted here.
(background to Spud - I'm a forum member on a world wide guitar forum ... have represented the guitar company in exhibitions at Excel, Birmingham Nec and Olympia - .. and ..... to my point .... have posted close on 12,000 posts on the guitar forum offering advice based on fact not on perception.
So over the years I see posts from newbs on the guitar forum and will admit to raising my eyebrows when a query is raised and feel that they should have used the Search ... hey it's a common query ... but on reflection I realised that it's a platform for them to get acquainted ... get a flavour of fellow forumites - get used to protocols ... etc)
I'd like to get to know you guys and have appreciated Pm's of support for my project - I really do want to contribute to this community.
... but anyways thanks for providing the answer to my tax query and other quries raised recently..... maybe I've knocked back too many Captn Morgans and I'm a bit fragile. :violin:
