I bought this engine. will have to travel over myself to collect unless somebody has a friend in the area who can collect and pallet the engine for some beer tokens. Don't really need the gearbox so an option is to split it and sell it while I arrange engine collection. The engine is near Margate

Mr Nickels, would you do me a favour and try and get as much information out this guy as to where he got this engine refurbished. I spoke to him as well, I would imagine he has probably had loads of calls from Delorean owners. He told me he had sold it but I was primimng him for any information on who done the rebuild, and he seemed very frugal on information, the only information he would give me was it was done by afirm in Maidstone. He also said a few people had rung to enquire, and the previous guy he spoke to prior to me swore alot and had a tick, I can only assume that was Tony ringing up. It was probably NF Autos in Staplehurst. They did replicas for years and recommended the PRV. They no longer do that kind of work.
