Someone in France bought VIN#00782 a few months ago ; he bought it from the 'known' Beverly Hills Car Club ...

But according to Chris Parnham's book, VIN#00782 was converted post-factory, to RHD by a few former Wooler-Hodec workers and DMCL engineers (page 369)? Was this one ever converted to RHD? Or has it been converted back to LHD somewhere in it's timeline?

I think it's likely a typo in Chris book?

00782 was on of the first batch of 22 cars shipped to the States.

Andy, any idea which of the many cars BHCC sold this is? The new owners says he has owned it since June 2017. How long does the import process take?

About 6 weeks, give or take.

So it's probably one BHCC had for sale in Feb - April?

Then it's probably this one from April

https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/198 ... c-7162.htm

which has the dodgy frame mentioned by the new owner as well as

- faded LH rear indicator
- missing rubstrip to right of rear marker
- faded LH door handle
- peashooter exhaust

the only question is that the BHCC photos show the mounting bolts for the rear luggage carrier, which now appear to be missing. And the interior doesn't look too bad

A few have attempted a DIY conversion.

Chris Nicholson also does them to Wooler Hodec spec, might be worth contacting him for a price if you were interested.

Personally though I'd stick with LHD.
